Visit the historic citadel of Machu Picchu with a private guide, followed by an hour of climbing the mountain of Wayna Picchu. The hike ascends the ridge of the mountain, with a full view of Machu Picchu, carrying travelers to a unique viewpoint Historic Reserve.
In addition to the magnificent view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, the summit offers a beautiful landscape of the river Vilcanota mountain Putukusi and mountains that are on the horizon.
Early in the morning, we´ll pick you up at your hotel, to transfer you to the railway station, where we´ll board the train bound to the village of Aguas Calientes.
Upon our arrival in Aguas Calientes, we´ll go to the hotel, where we´ll rest, and then, we´ll have the rest of the day free to get to know the village and its surroundings. Among the activities we suggest, are Aguas Calientes´ Thermal Baths, Mandor´s Cataracts, Machu Picchu´s Site Museum, or simply, rest at the hotel.
After a very early and pleasant breakfast at the hotel, we´ll take the bus that will take us to the Sacred Incan City of Machu Picchu, in time to see the dawn. Then, we´ll go on our hike up Mount Huayna Picchu, on top of which we´ll have a chance to contemplate all of the wonderful Incan City of Machu Picchu, visit the Incan constructions on top of the mountain and take splendid pictures of the place and of the whole surrounding area. Afterwards, we´ll walk back down and will go on the guided visit of Machu Picchu. Afterwards, you will have some free time to explore the city on your own and take pictures. Finally, we´ll board the bus bound to the village of Aguas Calientes, where we´ll have lunch.
In the afternoon, at the time indicated on our train ticket, we´ll go to the railway station, to board the train that will take us back to the city of Cusco.
